📦 Package Custody, Responsibility & Loss Acknowledgment: By accepting delivery routes from TLS Logistics, I understand and agree to the following: • Once packages are picked up and scanned into my route, custody and responsibility for those packages transfers to me until delivery is confirmed or the package is properly returned. • I am financially responsible for packages that are lost, damaged, stolen, or unaccounted for while under my custody, except where loss is proven to be caused by factors outside my control. • TLS Logistics may conduct an investigation into any missing or undelivered package. • If it is determined that loss resulted from negligence, misconduct, or failure to follow delivery procedures, I agree to reimburse TLS Logistics for the value of the package and any related penalties. • I authorize TLS Logistics to offset verified losses against future earnings or issue an invoice for reimbursement, with notice and documentation provided to me. • In cases where evidence indicates intentional theft, fraud, or criminal conduct, I understand that TLS Logistics may terminate my relationship immediately and refer the matter to law enforcement. • I understand that this is a 1099 independent contractor role and that TLS Logistics is not responsible for losses occurring while packages are under my custody, except as required by law.
